Apply for a few months, for a year, or longer, and live in a context of faithful discernment while you figure out and prepare for whatever comes next. |

Intentional Covenant Community UrbanSpirit, a Christian church and teaching center, desires to nurture young adults in spiritual, academic and professional discernment. We invite students and young professionals to apply as residents in “intentional covenant community.” Shared Expectations of “Intentional Covenant Community” As participation in this community is more than “a cheap place to live,” participation is based on shared expectations:

living in covenant, honoring the Portland neighborhood, and contributing to
the mission of UrbanSpirit. 2. ... live as a family with other covenanted participants, supporting and encouraging each other. 3. ... share a faith journey (though not a particular faith) with other participants, viewing the community as a spiritual community, as well. 4. ... exercise hospitality in welcoming short-term guests into the community.
