Exploring Faith and Poverty in an Urban Context

At UrbanSpirit, we’re committed to changing perceptions. Our educational program integrates the tenets of faith with the realities of economics. We ask questions here. Hard questions. You have to, to change the world.

SoJust:

a half-week Social Justice Camp for Middle School

This event is for youth completing grades 5-7 who may not be ready for the intensity of the full-week immersion program. In just 4 days, youth will experience a "social justice camp," exploring biblical themes, neighborhood issues and character development through games, movies, activities, worship and service projects.

This may be just the event to prepare your group for our Poverty Immersion Week, or to lay a biblical foundation for another mission trip.

This event will be offered twice in 2010: July 11-14 and July 14-17.

To Register for this Event

  • You must have a group of 6 or more, including at least one adult per 5 youth.

  • Participants must have completed 5th grade

  • Print the registration form and return with $50/person deposit

Program Costs

Cost is $210 per person. That includes all program fees and leadership, lodging and meals. If you think costs may keep you away, please call us. We have some scholarships available for those in need.
